Going to upgrade my 285GTX this tuesday to this.
Nvidia 600 series prob wont release 670 until last half of 2012 is my guess.

@DssDPT Dude, wtf are you talking about? I run a GTX 580 on a 700w PSU and I still have space. A 570 works fine with a 600w. Even a good 550w.

Next purchase is this ASUS GTX570 DCUII, an upgrade from an ASUS GTX285, so a good improvement. I’m happy with this card, plus I will probably do 2x SLI with this, plenty of space in the Thermaltake Level 10 GT.

@IJustOwnz The key is the amps at the coil, not the Watts…some cheaper 700W PSU’s come with like an 18amp or 25amprating at the coils…you need at least 36amps to get consistent performance.

i was going to buy the evga gtx 570 factory oc’d to 797 mhz. if i were to get this card would i be aable to manually oc it even higher? and what kind of psu would be necessary? Or will the evga version be able to run most games on max without trouble? bc if thats the case then i would settle with that, because i dont really understand how to oc myself

Seems like MSI AB works with the card…

I have a GTX 570 Gigabyte super Oc’ed version with the core clock set to 900mhz on the card. Running 3DMARK11 several times in a row NEVER did the card increase over 62C. That’s with the fan never going over 40%.

MSI Afterburner v2.2.0 Beta3 and up DOES support core voltage changing.
