   im gunna buy it off walmart.com,the one there only has 3 gbs of ram and its 5400 rpm, and it has a •AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Mobile Processor P340

   I was wondering about the brightness… I usually take it to very low, and now I’m wondering how long the battery would last with that option? Could you please test it? I’d be grateful for the info…

   the proccesor is 2.2 not 2.1

    my dell inspiron 5010 overeats alot and shuts off on its own i think because it gets too hot i mean it gets hot so hot you even touch the cooling vent because it burns alot

    Piece of Shit. I had mine for 3 months before the motherboard went dead. Contacted dell over 5 times being disconnected 4 times. and when I sent it in to get it repair they said that their was water damaged. The water tag dose not show that. They wanted $400 to fix after spending $700 for something I wish I never Purchased. I will never do business with dell again.

    The refurb version of this is on sale for US$425 today at Newegg.com. The specs sound nice for the price; I wonder how it does at gaming, though?
    (My teen daughter & I are both looking for laptops for Christmas this year, and she needs one which will play games such as Dragon Age 2.)

    this laptop runs pretty smoothly but does manage to heat up very easily and if the battery is not looked after and completely run out some times its battery goes to an hour for 100% while playing games
